How to Install Google Analytics
Google analytics is going to be one of your most used, and most important tools you use in owning and maintaining any website, regardless of if you are a shop, brick & mortar store, or a blog. Before you head over to Google Analytics, make sure that you have a gmail account that is dedicated to your website endeavors. It just makes it easier.
Once you have once, go to google analytics. Once there and you get an account, you will want to set up a a new admin account. In the top menu bar, you will find the word admin at the end of the list. There, you will create a new account.
Go through the prompts it give you, and then copy the tracking code and paste in the genesis_before hook in the Genesis Simple Hooks Plugin.
How to Install Google Webmaster Tools
After you have done that (but only after), head over to Google Webmaster Tools. Sign up for an account using your gmail as specified before. Add a property and click to verify the account. Since you already have Google Analytics installed, you are good to go!
