Why you should try Amazon Overlay ads for mobile

I really love all the features that Amazon is offering its affiliates. And the latest obsession of my in installing Amazon Popover ads for mobile users. This in addition to using Amazon Native ads and really amping up my efforts to market my books through Amazon, and my profits have more than quadrupled from my average monthly passive income from Amazon alone.

I am not sure about you, but the majority of my fans and readers are using their phones to view my content. And this is game changing to me.

Amazon claims that you can increase your revenue by 30% by including the popover codes. I have no idea.

But what I love is that they are visually appealing and really highlight products you are already linking in your posts.

Look in the text of the post. You will see I actually already included an affiliate link to this exact product. That’s where the star comes in. It indicates that it’s the product being shown. But this gives a tiny visual for people. Plus it draws their eyes to the product because it pops up as they scroll over it and lowers as they scroll past.

In fact, it stays on screen for 15 seconds or you have the option of closing it out.

And it even works with linked images!

The height of popover is 80px across all mobile devices and varies in width based on the technology being used.

I actually added a visual ad for one of my own books that is on Amazon. And then Amazon Popover ads still picked up on their link and showed me an overlay as I scrolled through my site on my phone.

All you have to do is add your code from Amazon.

Go to your dashboard > Product Linking > Mobile popover

Then add that code before </body> tag in your website template. (If you have genesis simple hooks, this is super easy. Can’t find it in simple hooks? just hit control or function + F and search for it. Paste and you’re done!
